Hog Drop BBQ Showdown

Willingham’s World Champion BBQ rings in the New Year on the pit at the 10th Annual Hog Drop BBQ Showdown in Unadilla, Georgia — a KCBS-sanctioned Master Series State Championship and Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational qualifier, cooking down on New Year’s Eve, Thursday, December 31, 2026.
Forty-two teams compete across the four KCBS categories — chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket — for a $17,500 purse and a shot at the draw for a spot at The Jack. The festival opens to the public at 5 PM, the awards ceremony is at 10:30 PM, and the namesake Hog Drop rings in 2027 at midnight.
